KCR restless, Kavitha languishes. KCR's daughter and BRS MLC, Kavitha, embroiled in the Delhi liquor scam, was arrested by ED officials in Hyderabad on March 15 and subsequently transferred to Tihar Jail on March 26. Seeking bail for her son, who is undergoing medical tests, Kavitha filed a petition in the Rouse Avenue court on the same day. However, the court, which is overseeing the investigation, adjourned Kavitha's bail petition to April 4.

The delay in the case has disappointed party members and KCR's family, who were hopeful for some relief for Kavitha. This setback adds to the challenges faced by the BRS party, including ED scrutiny, criticism of KCR over state water projects, and allegations of phone tapping against KTR. The exodus of party members to other political entities further exacerbates KCR's predicament.

Expressing his frustration, KCR resorted to labeling defectors as "dogs and foxes," drawing ridicule from opponents. BJP leader Raghunandan criticized KCR, stating that it is unbecoming of him to denigrate former allies who are now departing from the party.

As tensions escalate within the party and with adversaries seizing the opportunity to undermine KCR's leadership, the political landscape in Telangana remains fraught with uncertainty.
