Revanth to make Sharmila the CM.Telangana Chief Minister Revanth Reddy recently made headlines by expressing his support for YS Sharmila, stating that he would stand by her until she becomes the Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh. Speaking at the Nyaya Sadhana Sabha, an event organized to protest against the privatization of the Visakha Steel Plant, Revanth Reddy criticized the ruling YSR Congress Party (YCP) in Andhra Pradesh, led by Chief Minister Jagan Mohan Reddy.

Revanth Reddy called on the people to support the Congress party, emphasizing that those who share the late YS Rajasekhara Reddy's (YSR) vision are the true heirs to his legacy. He asserted that YSR's daughter, Sharmila, is his heir and urged the people of Andhra Pradesh to strengthen her by electing Congress MLAs and giving her five MP seats in the upcoming elections.

Revanth Reddy criticized both the YCP and the Telugu Desam Party (TDP), stating that voting for either party would ultimately benefit Prime Minister Narendra Modi's government. He expressed concerns about the fate of the Polavaram project and the future of the Visakhapatnam steel plant, emphasizing the need for Andhra Pradesh to have strong representation in Delhi to protect its interests.

Asserting that the ruling YCP has surrendered to Modi, Revanth Reddy called for a change in the political landscape of Andhra Pradesh. He reminded the audience of past leaders from the region who fought for the state's interests in Delhi and called for a return to those values.

Meanwhile, YS Sharmila, speaking at the same event, criticized her brother, Chief Minister Jagan Mohan Reddy, accusing him of failing to fulfill promises made to the people of Andhra Pradesh. She questioned his commitment to issues such as the special status for Andhra Pradesh and job creation, accusing him of deceiving the public.

Revanth Reddy's comments and Sharmila's criticisms have sparked discussions in Andhra Pradesh, with many wondering about the future political landscape of the state.
