Pawan turns tables on CBN. In response to the setback experienced in the 2019 elections, both Janasena and the Telugu Desam Party (TDP) forged an alliance with the shared objective of defeating the ruling YSRCP. The collaboration involves co-ordination meetings and ongoing discussions about seat sharing. However, questions of equal importance and respect arose within the alliance when TDP declared Chandrababu Naidu as the Chief Minister candidate.

Nara Lokesh, ruling out the possibility of power-sharing, emphasized CBN's experience as the sole basis for his candidacy, sparking concerns about the equitable treatment of Janasena. This led individuals like Chegondi Harirama Jogaiah to question Janasena's standing and prompted him to address the issue in a letter to Pawan Kalyan.

The situation escalated when Chandrababu Naidu unilaterally announced TDP's candidates for Mandapeta and Araku seats, without apparent consideration for Janasena. This move left Janasena supporters and followers disappointed, as they questioned the extent of collaboration between the two parties.

Pawan Kalyan, responding to these developments, expressed his discontent with Nara Lokesh's comments and the unilateral candidate announcements by Chandrababu Naidu. Despite feeling hurt, Pawan chose to remain silent for the greater good. Regarding the alliance, Pawan emphasized that its scope extends beyond the Assembly elections, hinting at a continued collaboration in the future. He acknowledged the uncertainties surrounding the attainment of political power while expressing objection to Lokesh's remarks.

In a significant turn of events, Pawan Kalyan, on Republic Day, announced that Janasena would contest in two seats - Razole and Rajanagaram. This move, he explained to party members, was made under the pressure he faced, drawing a parallel to Chandrababu Naidu's decisions.
