Happy Birthday To Blockbuster Director Boyapati Sreenu

Director Boyapati Sreenu is known for high voltage actioners. His films follow regular template of successful commercial cinema but with his right narration and explosive elevation scenes, he pulls off even an ordinary story in an extra ordinary manner. He make sure emotions work besides designing power packed scenes which takes his films to a whole new level. Boyapati's magic is he makes the audience get convinced while watching larger than life stunts and image of his protagonist in the film.

Boyapati Sreenu is a relative of popular writer, director, actor Posani Krishna Murali. With his recommendation he joined team of Director Muthyala Subbayya and worked for many big films. He turned director with Bhadra starring Ravi Teja and Meera Jasmine in the year 2005. Dil Raju produced the film and introduced Boyapati as the director. Bhadra became superhit and fetched him big offer with Venkatesh. He made Tulasi with Venkatesh and Nayanthara and scored another superhit. 

While the first two films has an under current emotion of love and family drama along with his kind of action, his third film with Nandamuri Balakrishna, Simha untapped his full potential as a director. He unleashed himself and formed a style of himself with Simha which became a huge blockbuster. Then followed by Dhammu with NTR which gave mixed result. But, once again with NBK as Legend, Boyapati struck gold by delivering Blockbuster in his usual style of filmmaking showcasing Balayya at his best.

Blockbuster success of Sarrainodu with Allu Arjun has proved that Boyapati can deliver with young heroes too. Allu Arjun gained mass image with this film. The next two films from Boyapati are with young heroes, Jaya Janaki Nayaka with Bellamkonda Sreenivas and Vinaya Vidheya Rama with Ram Charan. Both became average at the boxoffice. Boyapati once again teamed up with NBK for Akhanda and delivered his mark Blockbuster. Now he is working for Ram Pothineni for a massive action entertainer with Sree Leela as heroine. It is slated to release on 20th October as Dussehra special.
