Telangana Elections 2018: Pawan Kalyan Didn’t Contest

Power Star Pawan Kalyan, chief of Janasena Party is leaving no stone unturned to strengthen his political party before the 2019 elections in two Telugu states Telangana and Andhra Pradesh. He set on Praja Porata Yatra and before he could enter Telangana, T-CM KCR gave shock to everyone by dissolving the assembly and going for early elections.

Many waited eagerly for Pawan Kalyan’s entry into Telangana elections battle field. However when he remained silent and at the last minute announced that Janasena wouldn’t contest the elections, rivals attacked him for having a secret pact with TRS party and cited out how he praised KCR and KTR earlier. Some even accused him of being a coward and running away from elections without contesting even one of them after his party launch four years back.

But after the election results, in which KCR virtually crushed the entire opposition and even decimated the wily AP CM Chandra Babu Naidu, who forged an alliance with Congress party, erasing the anti Congress stand, many analysts are of the opinion that some secret hand saved Pawan Kalyan from the disaster.

Had Pawan entered the elections and his Janasena contested Telangana assembly elections, it would have been the biggest blunder in his life, more than his brother Mega Star Chiranjeevi merging his Praja Rajyam with Congress after winning 18 MLA seats.
