Generally December is not considered good month for the film releases. Filmmakers feel that movie lovers will go into vacation mode and they will not be keen to watch films as they get more engrossed in X Mas and New Year celebrations and vacation plans. Now coupled with that, assembly elections in Telangana too is forcing filmmakers to consider other options.
Despite all this, small filmmakers of Tollywood are going against the December sentiment as more than 20 films are set to test their luck at the box office. December starts with Srikanth’s Operation Duryodhana 2019, sequel for his hit film Operation Duryodhan, which is releasing on 1st. December.
December 7th has many releases and that includes RGV’s Bhairava Geetha, Bellamkonda Sai Srinivas’ Kavacham, Sundeep Kishan, Tamannaah’s Next Enti and Hushaaru. Dec 21st sees the release of Varun Tej-Sankalp Reddy’s Antariksham and Sharwanand’s Padi Padi Leche Manasu. Both the films are having lot of expectations.
December 28th has the release of Nikhil’s Mudra, Kannadda, Telugu bilingual KGF. Apart from it films like Subrahmanyapuram, Subhalekha+lu, Anaganaga O Perma Katha, Edu Chepala Katha, 47 Days, Idam Jagat, Bluff Master and Odiyan are eyeing December releases as otherwise Sankaranti festival witness top stars releases and Summer too is targeted by top stars leaving no space for them to test their power at the box office.
