Stars Stepped Back, What About Rajamouli?

Right after the sensation of Baahubali, Tollywood Jakkana Rajamouli revealed that his dream is to make a film on Mahabharat. He claimed that Baahubali is just a trailer and Mahabharat is his real dream. 

This left all stunned and many got surprised when filmmakers and stars from other languages started hurrying to make a film on Mahabarat. Many felt that they did not want to give Rajamouli the first chance to crack Mahabharat code. Despite all this Rajamouli remained unperturbed. He said he is unfazed and Mahabharat is an ocean and one can make hundred versions. 

Mr Perfectionist Amir Khan, Shah Rukh Khan expressed their dream to make Mahabharat and Amir tried to make the project with Salman Khan, Amitabh, Deepika Padukone and others in key roles with five parts. This interested even Reliance group who tried to invest a whopping Rs 1000crs. 

However now they backed off and even shared feeling that investing five years is tedious and instead he can do five films of 100crs each and make huge profits, instead risking with one project and that too a mythological one risking the ire of fringe elements. 

Earlier Malayalam filmmakers planned Randamoozlam, with Mohan Lal, 1000crs project with Mahabharat told from Bheema perspective. But now the project landed in trouble with the writer Vasudevan Nair accusing the makers of not starting the project even after a year. 

Now the question is can Rajamouli dare to take Mahabharat when many stars already backtracked.
