VD Konda’s Dad Unhappy With GG

There have been reports that, Vijay Deverakonda is determined to defer the release dates of Taxiwala and Geetha Govindam, since he is not convinced with outcome of the Rahul Sankirtyan directed film.

But, the reality is completely contradictory to these reports. Vijay Deverakonda’s father Govardhan is said to be pretty confident of Taxiwala doing sensations at ticket window like Arjun Reddy and he wants to release this movie first.

As per the source, Taxiwala is another different film with few unexpected twists and thrilling elements, wherein Geetha Govindam is a regular rom com. Thus, VD Konda’s father feels it is unwise decision postponing Taxiwala to advance Geetha Govindam. According to him, delaying Taxiwala’s will damage prospects.

It is also heard that, Govardhan Deverakonda is not completely satisfied with Geetha Govindam since the film lacks novelty. Although he insisted GA 2 makers not to advance release of Geetha Govindam, they allegedly didn’t listen to his plea.

Apparently, this might be the reason for Vijay Deverakonda stopped promoting Geetha Govindam and moved onto Dear Comrade.
