2nd Thoughts On 2nd Indian

Star director Shankar is currently busy with Super Star Rajinikanth’s upcoming entertainer 2.0, sequel for blockbuster Robot. He is concentrating on completing this Asia’s most expensive project before concentrating on next, sequel for Indian that is Bharateeyudu.

2.0 is slated for a grand release in September and Indian 2 will be going to sets right after that. Universal Star Kamal Haasan, who showed his power as Indian in the first part taking on the corrupt is currently busy realising his political dreams. Kamal is of an opinion that if he signs indian 2, then it may affect his political plans. So, Kamal is not showing big interest on this project.

Shankar and makers on hand are learnt to be looking for alternatives if Kamal opts out of the project due to political compulsions. Sources say, they may start Indian 2 either with versatile actor Chiyaan Vikram or Action King Arjun in the lead. Rumours are spreading that Bollywood star Ajay Devgn is signed for playing an important role in the film. Indian 2 will be larger on scale than Indian.
