NTR, ANR Whistles Sensation

Legendary actors Ntr and ANR acted together in several blockbusters and whenever they share screen space in a film it was a delight for fans of both the stars. People still rave about these legends whistles sensation. One cannot forget Ntr, ANR, Savitri, Jamuna, SVR's Gundamma Katha. In one scene there are no dialogues between Ntr and ANR and their conversation takes place only in whistles. 

When ANR goes to meet Jamuna, Ntr stops him and then their whistles conversation starts. Dialogues writer DV Narasaraju wrote the scene in his house in Madras. Ntr will be in Gundamma's house as a servant. His brother ANR comes there to meet his lover Jamuna.  

Narasaraju first wrote a dialogue for ANR ' Intlo Naa Preyasi Unda', but he felt Preyasi is a very heavy word and replaced it with 'Pitta'. Then he felt that Pitta is very low and cheap word and replaced it with 'Aame'. 

For that Ntr confirms with a whistle. He left the scene incomplete and the next day took the script to Vijaya Studios and showed it to Chakrapani who then told him that the whistles conversation is good and asked him to complete the entire scene with whistles. 

Narasaraju did the same and during the shoot, when Ntr and ANR were conversing in whistles, entire cast and crew gave thunderous applause with whistles. The scene created a sensation on silver screen and audience too blew whistles during the particular scene.
