The Day Vijayashanti Fired At Sarath Kumar

Tamil Actor Sarath Kumar has been popular among the southern states especially in Tamil and Telugu Industries. He is currently busy doing major character roles in Telugu. In a recent interview to one of the media houses, Sarath Kumar revealed some interesting incidents from the past.

This is what he had to say – “Though I came to act in Tamil movies, many of them do not know that I made by debut in Telugu first through a movie named Samajam lo Sthree. MY friend is a producer of that movie. Since one of the actor was not present that day, I was given the opportunity to act in a scene. Amidst several senior actors like Gollapudi Maruthi Rao, Rao Gopala Rao, Suman, Vijayashanti and Bhanuchander, I had to act in that scene.”

He further added – “I was unable to render a lengthy dialogue scene and have taken more than 7 to 8 takes. Frustrated by me, Vijayashanti yelled at the team of taking in experienced people like me to act in a movie and that he has to take a flight soon”. Later I acted in a movie called Stuartpuram Police Station when I recollected the incident to Vijayashanti. She did not remember me but laughed out harder after hearing what has happened and apologized”.
