No Cinema, Only Politics!

Will the entry of Kamal Hasan and Rajinikanth in politics change the Tamil Nadu scenario? Even while both of them are repeatedly talking about politics, except hype in media and excitement among public, there is nothing happening on real front. Lesser known actor, director Charu Hasan openly threw satires on this present state of Rajini and Kamal.

‘I don’t think Rajinikanth or Kamal Hasan together have much of chance in politics. Even if both start a party together, they would not secure more than 10% votes. If my calculations are right, together their vote share will be less than 10% and 90% will go for politics but not cinema,’ he said.

‘Anyways, I have no idea on whether Kamal and Rajini together will start a party or not,’ he further added. Charu Hasan who also happens to be elder brother to Kamal seems to be reluctant at seeing his brother in political field.

‘People of Tamil Nadu voted for MG Ramachandran, M Karunanidhi and Jayalalitha who are from cinema not that they were crazy about films. If you think film industry gave formidable politicians to Tamil Nadu then why Jayalalitha lost the elections twice,’ Charu Hasan questioned.
