Secret Behind Ammadu Kummudu Lyrics!

Rather than succeeding as sensational music composer in Tollywood delivering row of musical hits without a break, many of our star heroes and directors hold lot of value in Devi Sri Prasad’s judgment. 

‘Before signing a project, I take lot of leisure from 3 hours to six or seven hours to listen entire story from director. In fact, many of our directors like Trivikram Srinivas, Harish Shankar, VV Vinayak and others would love to narrate their stories for me because they feel I am a good listener. In this very first sitting, I will lock two to three songs and their situations because their sincere narration and substance in story inspires me to give better music.

For Khaidi No 150, both hero Chiranjeevi garu and director Vinayak garu explained me about situations and then left everything on me as they trust me more. This is where my responsibility increases manifolds. 

For example, I just gave first few lines for super hit Ammadu Lets Do Kummudu song initially but when none of the writers did full justice to finish complete lyric, Chiranjeevi garu called me just 15 minutes before final recording and asked me to take up the challenge. Then I closed the whole lyric in very short span of time we are left before recording,’ DSP said during a chit chat.       That’s the magic in Devi Sri Prasad which is keeping him in demand from last 17 years or so.
