Krish Manikarnika From Varanasi!

Sensational director Krish’s next film in Hindi titled Manikarnika, a biopic on Rani Jhansi Lakshmi Bai will be officially announced today from Kashi Ghat in Varanasi on the banks of sacred Ganga River. 

Titled as Manikarnika – The Queen Of Jhansi has story written by KV Vijayendra Prasad while Kangna Ranaut is playing the title role. Shankar, Ehsaan and Loy are composing the music while Prasoon Joshi penned dialogues, lyrics and Kamal Jain is the producer. Post Gauthami Puthra Satakarni success, director Krish left to Mumbai and got immersed organizing the pre production works. 

Kanagna is also set to unveil a 20 feet movie poster at a press meet in Varanasi after the movie announcement and will be seen performing Ganga Haarathi along with the team. 

Actually, Manikarnika is the birth name of Rani Lakshmi Bhai and she was born in Varanasi in 1828 to a Marathi-Brahmin family. So, Krish thought Manikarnika as the apt title and Varanasi as the perfect city for the film announcement.
