AR Rahman Words of Praise on Bahubali!

Attending the audio launch of ‘Cheliyaa’ today in Hyderabad, music director AR Rahman was all in praises for Telugu films and Telugu audience. He in fact wished for four films like ‘Bahubali’ to release every year altogether from all the South languages and Bollywood.

‘Every time when I work on a Tamil film composing the tunes, I feel satisfied. But when the same songs are later listened in Telugu version, I sense Telugu songs superior than my own Tamil ones. That’s the beauty and sweetness in Telugu language. It’s the greatness in Telugu industry that we have films like ‘Bahubali’ coming up. There was a time in the past at AVM studios when Telugu, Tamil, Kannada and Malayalm films used to progress in parallel. But now, every industry grew up in its own place. I wish that there will be four Bahubalis every year thus erasing the regional boundaries and terms like Bollywood becomes null, void,’ Rahman said.

‘Cheliyaa’ starring Karthi, Aditi Rao Hydari is directed by Mani Ratnam and is set for a grand release in Telugu on April 7th through the safe Dil Raju hands.
