Mani Ratnam’s directorial skills needs no new introduction because he is an intense story teller. Particularly when it comes to romantic films, he created a niche of own and audience eagerly wait for his movies to release. ‘Cheliyaa’ falls into the same category starring Karthi and Aditi Rao Hydari in main leads.
‘Cheliyaa’ second trailer released just now is more of a visual feast with an exceptional love story narrated in air force and war backdrop. Karthi has gone lean and handsome without a moustache in warrior pilot role while Aditi Rao Hydari is pretty attractive in hero’s company.
Rugged, dusty war scenes in atypical topography, snow storms, war choppers and scenic waterfalls, Ravi Varma’s camera work is just astonishing with extremely surprising, effective musical score by AR Rahman. As usual, dialogues are small, straight, simple conveying the depth in love story.
Altogether, Mani Ratnam and AR Rahman combo is back with one more vigorous lovable flick for which it’s worth to wait till April 7th. The 88 seconds trailer is all about Air Pilot Karthi and his search for love in Cheliyaa (Aditi Rao Hydari). True to Mani mark.
