Nandamuri Balakrishna’s prestigious 100th film ‘Gauthami Puthra Satakarni’ is making news on every front. First, the film was shot in various foreign locations involved with plenty human, technical resources and secondly, it’s on business front. While we have already reported on producers receiving many trade calls enquiring on theatrical rights, here comes the big news about film completing the satellite business much before the wrapping of production.

As per an update from official sources, MAA TV bagged GPS satellite rights competitively by shelling a whopping price of Rs. 9.15 Crores. This is stupendous figure for any film. Apparently, the historical subject and Balayya’s milestone project are said to be the basic reasons behind MAA TV management offering a fancy price.

GPS is directed by Krish while Shriya, Hema Malini, Kabeer Khan are playing the main leads. The movie also boasts high end technical values with VFX on par with ‘Bahubali.’ As reported in the past, ‘Gauthami Puthra Satakarni’ will be hitting the screens for coming Pongal season.
