Suriya Emerges As Tollywood Star!

The love and adoration showed by Telugu audience towards films and artists from any part of the world is simply amazing. Our viewers never showed discrimination towards straight or dubbing movies, whichever the movie may be… if it served their minimum entertainment demands, the verdict was loud and clear with a Box Office hit. Best example is, ‘Bichagadu’ which is still ruling the roost.

Subject of discussion here is; how Tamil Star Suriya raised as Telugu Star. Of late, we heard that his upcoming film ‘Singham 3’ Telugu dubbing version rights are sold for a whopping Rs.18 Crores and that too amidst a heavy competition. 

Suriya’s first two installments in ‘Singham’ series stood as decent hits in Telugu states. Racy, action entertainment with all commercial ingredients blended in right proportions is the key behind director Hari succeeding. No wonder, Bollywood was also inspired by ‘Singham’ and Rohit Shetty churned National Box Office on same formula. ‘Singham 3’ having an added attraction with Shruti Hasan as new joined member will help Suriya to re-write his old Telugu records. All in all, ‘S 3’ is heard to have done a massive pre release business of Rs.65 Crores till date. With back to back films all the way from 'Ghajini' till 'Singham 3,' there's no stopping for Suriya in Telugu and Tamil.
