Gopichand Rejected ‘Race’ Remake!

Tall and handsome Gopichand isn’t so happy with result of ‘Soukhyam.’ On one side he is committed to few more new movies but on other side, director Ramesh Varma revealed some interesting news on Gopichand rejecting his proposal of ‘Race’ remake with Raviteja as one more hero. In fact, Ravi and Gopi joining hands would be happy news for a true multi star project but nothing of such sorts happened.

‘Actually Gopichand does not want to act in negative characters. I narrated him one of the main role in ‘Race’ with antagonist shades. Bhavya Creations was also ready during those times to producer ‘Race’ remake. Apparently, the idea was dissolved then and there with Gopi opting to stay out of it,’ Ramesh Varma explained.

Anyways, Ramesh Varma’s romantic film ‘Abbayitho Ammayi’ is releasing tomorrow starring Naga Shaurya and Palak Lalwani. Let us wish him all the very best.
