Pawan Kalyan Press Meet Highlights

Finally, Pawan Kalyan took all his time to answer many questions and speculations making rounds in media about his silence on current day political happenings in two Telugu states. These are some of the highlights from his address to media today:

1. He came in with bunch of papers arranged in an order (covering topics he has to react on).

2. Praised Telangana Chief Minister KCR for standing as best example in integrity of two Telugu states by appointing Vijianagaram based Anand Sai as architect for the Yadadri project.

3. Targeted Harish Rao for addressing TDP as ‘Andhra Party’ and attacking TDP leaders as ‘Andhrollu.’ Andhra is an amalgamation of people from different castes. (SCs, STs, BCs, Kapu, Kamma etc)

4. Targeted Talasani Srinivas Yadav for jumping into TRS at the behest of losing trust of Sanath Nagar voters.

5. Neutral on Cash-for-Vote scam of Revanth Reddy as the case is with judiciary.

6. Responded on Phone Tapping as National issue and Central Government has to respond punishing the culprits seriously.

7. Against the implementation of Section 8 of AP Re-Organization Act in Hyderabad. 

8. Explained the danger and possibility of occurrence of civil unrest and civil war between people of two Telugu states quoting the example of Police fighting at Nagarjuna Sagar.

9. Underlined the injustice done to Andhra Pradesh with division of state. While Telangana has become budget surplus state, AP is lying in financial crisis with no capital.

10. Hyderabad is the capital of Telangana and no one can deny this fact.

11. Battle between two state governments is not good for society and people. PM Narendra Modi should advocate a via-media mechanism to solve the issue else this could become a subject of threat to National integrity.

12. Andhra Pradesh MPs should inspire from the way Telangana MPs fought for separate statehood and get the special status granted by Centre. What are these Andhra MPs doing in power without putting the pressure on Centre.

13. Hyderabad is the joint capital of AP and Telangana for 10 years. CM KCR should take the responsibility for prevailing of peace and harmony in Hyderabad.

14. I am concerned about the integrity of country and people of two Telugu states. I can react on each and every issue of contemporary politics but there should be right time to do this instead of coming before media repeatedly.
