He was arrested for bribing nominated legislator Elvis Stephenson for Rs. 50 Lakhs influencing him to vote in favor of TDP-BJP alliance candidate in legislative council elections. Although Revanth Reddy’s lawyers repeatedly applied for bail, finally he got it today on the surety of Rs 5 Lakhs. The Court has put a condition for Revanth to be available for investigation in the case at any time. Revanth’s two aides Bishop Harry Sebastian and Udaya Simha have also got the bail. They will be released at any time from Charlapalli Jail in next few hours.

Although Telangana Advocate General alleged Revanth of tampering the evidences, court granted bail. The TDP leader has to surrender the Passport and must not leave Hyderabad and Kodangal till the time next orders are released.
