Horribly Golden Horror Week

The new trend of testing BO with small budgeted horror films is picking up in Tollywood. This is one of the safest genres many producers can rely upon despite possessing no big star cast. Following the same, there are two films ‘Avunu 2’ and ‘Chitram Kadu Nijam’ have hit the screens yesterday to cash on one week gap before ‘S/O Sathya Murthy’ begins to exhibit the command.

Good point is; both ‘Avunu 2’ and ‘CKN’ are made on extremely simple budgets. A mere release can push the makers into profits is the very fact many in trade circles understood. ‘Avunu 2’ is just made to cash on the craze of superb hit first installment. Ravi Babu works on a shoestring budget and his discipline in controlling the financials is exhibited one more time in ‘Avunu 2.’ Second one, ‘Chitram Kadu Nijam’ made on a mere 30 Lakhs budget in Kannada is dubbed into Telugu for a very least price. All in all, neither of them got respectable reviews yet these horror films are horrible for viewers while the same are turning golden ducks for respective producers.
