Eega [Telugu]: In its opening weekend, the film has collected $5, 38, 996 [Rs.3 Crores] on 31 screens, with the per screen average working out to $ 17,387.

NAAN EE [Tamil]: In its opening weekend, the film has collected $ 11,638 [Rs.6.48 Lakhs] on 8 screens, with the per screen average working out to $ 1,455.

If the same trend continues for next three to four weeks with oppositions in the form of ‘Julaayi’ and ‘Devudu Chesina Manushulu’ ran far away to August, no surprises even if ‘Eega’ goes on to pose a threat to overseas trade of ‘Dookudu’ and ‘Gabbar Singh.’ Let us wait and see…
