While many couples follow a traditional path to the altar, Rakul wasn't afraid to be unconventional. In a recent interview, she revealed how she playfully "forced" Jackky to propose.  Despite the wedding date already set and plans underway, the proposal was missing.

Rakul, craving a special story, made her feelings clear: "I said 'I need a story,'" she stated, adding with a laugh, "I told him, you have to propose... you have 2-3 months left. No matter how you do it, you figure it out."

Jackky's surprise proposal during their joint bachelor's party last December proved to be a heartwarming moment. The intimate gathering, attended by close friends including actresses Pragya Jaiswal and Manchu Lakshmi, became the setting for a memorable proposal. "Honestly, I had completely forgotten," Rakul admitted, "but he actually managed to surprise me, I had no idea."

The couple tied the knot on February 21, 2024, in a beautiful ceremony in Goa. They have now returned to their respective careers. Rakul is busy filming the remake of 'Meri Patni Ka' and 'Indian 2,' while Jackky is gearing up for his next projects, 'Suryaputra Mahavir Karna' and 'Mission Lion,' which have generated considerable buzz among fans.
