Prabhas Shooting For His Role In Kannappa

Vishnu Manchu's dream project, mythological film 'Kannappa' is star-studded with actors from different industries coming together. Apart from Manchu Vishnu, it features an ensemble cast of Mohan Babu, Akshay Kumar, and R. Sharathkumar. Alongside them, it also features cameo appearances by Mohanlal and Prabhas.

Kannappa Budget 

Kannappa is touted to be the most expensive filn in Vishnu's career with a budget of over Rs 100 Crores. The actor himself has written the film’s screenplay, while Mukesh Kumar Singh has been roped in to direct it.  Kannappa is being made as a Pan India affair with a simultaneous release across the five main languages.

Prabhas Joins The Shoot 

According to the latest update, Prabhas joined the shoot of Kannappa. Reportedly Prabhas has allocated three days of dates for the film and he will shoot in a specially erected set for his role..Prabhas’ role in the film, he was earlier set to play the character of Lord Shiva. 

Akshay Kumar, Nayanthara Roles In Kannappa

But, he decided to play Nandeeswarudu, while Akshay Kumar will portray Lord Shiva. Nayanthara is touted to play Goddess Parvathi. Akshay Kumar has wrapped up his part recently. The film’s music is being composed by Stephen Devassy and Mani Sharma. The film is expected to hit the screens in the latter half of 2024.
