Happy Birthday To Multi-faceted Talent Siddharth

Siddharth is from a Tamil family but became a star in Tollywood. During early 2000's Siddharth came as a whiff of fresh air in romantic love entertainers. His boyish charm along with impressive acting skills brought him closer to the Telugu audience in no time. Back-to-back superhits also helped him in attaining stardom. Siddharth used to be a go-to hero whenever makers lock a cool and urban love story.

After completing his business management studies, Siddharth worked as an assistant to Mani Ratnam, before going on to make an acting debut in S. Shankar's coming-of-age Tamil film Boys. The success of the film provided an opportunity to feature in Mani Ratnam's multi-starrer Aayutha Ezhuthu / Yuva. He starred in it along with Suriya, Trisha and Madhavan. Both Boys and Yuva provided him much recognition in Telugu as both the films got dubbed into Telugu and became successes.

He then ventured into Telugu as well as Hindi cinema through Nuvvostanante Nenoddantana, Rang De Basanti and Bommarillu. All.of these films turned out to be blockbusters marking a golden phase for him in his career. In the late 2000s, he established himself as a bankable lead actor in Telugu films. He also won acclaim for his work as a carrom player in Striker, which is the first film released on pay-per-view basis on YouTube along with theatrical release simultaneously. He also played as a blind warrior in the fantasy film Anaganaga O Dheerudu. But, with continuous failures he is back to Tamil and starred in Tamil films.

He made a reentry into Kollywood with commercially successful romantic comedy Kadhalil Sodhappuvadhu Yeppadi / Love Failure. He continued scoring successes in Tamil with Jigarthanda, Kaaviya Thalaivan, Aranmanai 2. Then, he acted in Malayalam film Kammara Sambhavam. He acted in Aval, Sivappu Manjal Pachai, and Aruvam. All of these films got dubbed into Telugu. He made his reentry into Telugu films with Mahasamudram where he co-stars with Sharwanand and Aditi Rao Hydari. The film didn't work well at the boxoffice. Siddharth's last film 'Chittha' / Chinna won critical acclaim and became a decent success. He himself produced it. Recently Siddharth got married to his co-star Aditi Rao Hydari.

Cinejosh wishing multi-talented Siddharth a very happy birthday and a great year ahead.
