Sobhita on Monkey Man.Sobhita Dhulipala, poised to make her Hollywood debut in the upcoming film "Monkey Man," directed by Dev Patel, expressed her excitement at being part of Patel's visionary project. Not only does "Monkey Man" mark Patel's directorial debut, but he also co-wrote the film and plays the lead role in it.

Reflecting on her Hollywood debut, Sobhita shared, "It’s my first time working in a new industry, it’s Hollywood. So that is super exciting for me. Mine is not a big part, but at the end of the day, it is a dream to be a part of Dev Patel's vision."

Having recently attended the film's premiere at the prestigious South by Southwest film festival, Sobhita was thrilled by the overwhelming response "Monkey Man" received, including a standing ovation. She described the premiere as a surreal experience, filled with moments of hooting, cheering, clapping, and screaming from the audience.

Sobhita also reflected on her experience at the premiere, saying, "I just came back from the world premiere at Austin. It was amazing, what a beautiful reception. I had goosebumps from the whole experience. People were hooting, cheering, clapping and screaming. There was a standing ovation.”

Apart from Sobhita Dhulipala, "Monkey Man" features a stellar cast including Sharlto Copley, Pitobash, Vipin Sharma, Sikandar Kher, Ashwini Kalsekar, Aditi Kalkunthe, and Makarand Deshpande in pivotal roles. The film is set to hit cinemas on April 5, promising audiences a captivating cinematic experience.
