Ajith was admitted for a general examination, where doctors identified the swollen nerve and treated it with a simple procedure. His spokesperson confirmed that Ajith is fine and is expected to be discharged in a day or two.

Ajith's spokesperson mentioned that the actor started taking his health more seriously after the passing of art director Milan last year. Milan's sudden death deeply affected Ajith, prompting him to prioritize his health check-ups.

Earlier, a video of Ajith and his wife, Shalini, visiting Apollo Hospital sparked rumors about his health. However, trade analyst Ramesh Bala reassured fans that apart from regular check-ups, Ajith underwent cardio and neuro check-ups and is in good health.

Ajith is gearing up for his upcoming film "Vidaa Muyarchi," directed by Magizh Thirumeni, alongside Trisha Krishnan, Arjun Sarja, and Regina Cassandra. He will also be seen in a film by Adhik Ravichandran.
